Other variations include stud poker and Spit-in-the-Ocean. These games differ from standard poker because players use a variety of card combinations. Stud poker is often played with multiple packs, and some players use wild cards, which can take any suit.
A common strategy is to bluff, or to try and convince other players to fold their hands. Bluffing is especially effective in a game with a big blind. For example, if the dealer calls a bet, the player can raise his or her bet by a few dollars.
